Christi Bulot

Upon my retirement from the corporate world, in 2007, I ventured into the art world. I explored the medium of mosaics, took several classes and began creating panels with found objects - ceramics, stones, shells and the like. The “hunt” for treasures to incorporate into my work was half the fun! I made beautiful gazing spheres and trinket boxes and even worked with clients on commissioned pieces. Working with a fabricator I designed boxes to my own specifications and learned how to patina and polish readying them for the artistic detail work. I was fortunate to be juried into a local art show three times in my native California. My artistic journey had begun.

Since 2017 my home has been in Sedona, Arizona, a town often recognized as being one of the best small cities in the country for the arts. In early 2019, on a whim, I took a beginning “Tiffany Copper Foil Method” stained glass class from Holly Stedman. From that class on, I took almost every class Holly offered. I was fascinated with the entire process and never looked back. I create my own designs and patterns. The stained glass immersion was a stepping stone to creating unique Southwest inspired décor. I am always in awe of how the natural light casts its unique glow over glass artwork and how the ever-changing illumination allows such beauty to shine through moment by moment. I am fearless, love challenges and always try to push my abilities. A new chapter. A new expression. A new journey.
